Summer Lacrosse Camp

The McDowell Girls Lacrosse Association is hosting the Second Annual Heart of Lacrosse Camp July 22-26, 2013. Camp runs in the evenings from 5-8:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
This year, we will be having a special guest speaker. Team USA's Gina Oliver, who is a head coach for Division 1 University of Cincinnati, will be attending the camp on its last day to speak with the girls. This is an awesome opportunity for Erie!
The camp is for girls 6-12 -- beginners to advanced from ANY school district!
Come learn to play lacrosse! To register, complete and mail in the attached brochure.
Congrats to Middle School's Sylvia Grack for being selected by the Pittsburgh Lacrosse Foundation and WPSLA to receive the US Lacrosse "Spirit of the Game" award! One player from each age group is nominated by his/her coach(es) to receive this award. These are the players who best embody the characteristics that US Lacrosse promotes and embraces: good character, good sportsmanship, commitment, teamwork and love of the game.
The McDowell Girls High School team won the 2012 District 10 Championship!
The Trojans defeated Villa 11-6 Tuesday night in the District 10 Championship game to become the first contested District 10 girls lacrosse champions. We are very proud of the hard work and dedication that the entire 32-man roster has put into this season!

As announced at this year's banquet, the Jeffrey and Colleen Stubbs College Scholarship Fund has been established in their honor.
On the Documents & Forms tab, please find the scholarship details and application forms. The scholarship will begin in 2013 and is available to McDowell Girls' Lacrosse seniors with one full year of participation in the program. General High School Program Information

Equipment required: Girls lacrosse stick, goggles and mouthguard (loaner sticks and goggles available )
